Learn the home row, one key at a time
The home row is where your fingers rest: A S D F for the left hand and J K L ; for the right. Home Row Hero teaches it in six short lessons: F and J, D and K, S and L, A and semicolon, the whole row, and then real words made only from home row keys.
Press the key shown on the next tile and the hero hops forward. The keyboard at the bottom lights up the key and shows which finger should press it. A wrong key never ends the game: the tile simply waits for the right one.
Each lesson ends with up to three stars for accuracy. Two stars opens the next lesson.
Skills practiced

Questions
Who is Home Row Hero for?
Beginners, including kindergarten to grade 3. There are no hearts and no way to lose, so young children can take their time.
What are the bumps on F and J?
Small raised lines that let your pointer fingers find the home row without looking. Most keyboards have them.
Is my lesson saved?
Yes, on this device only. The game remembers the last lesson you opened. Nothing is sent to a server.
