Type the word on a balloon before it floats away.
How to play
Type the word under a balloon to pop it. Your first letter picks the balloon. A balloon that floats away costs a heart. You have three. Backspace lets go of a word so you can pick another. Esc pauses the game.
Pop the balloons with your keyboard
Balloons float up from the grass, and each one carries a short word. Type the word to pop the balloon before it drifts off the top of the screen. The first letter you type picks the balloon, so you never have to click anything.
Every eight balloons starts a new wave. The balloons rise a little faster and the words get a little longer, starting with two and three letter words that early readers know. Words on the screen always start with different letters, which makes it easy to choose.

Who is Balloon Pop for?
It is made for early typists, around grades 1 to 4. The first waves use two and three letter words and move slowly.
What happens if I press the wrong key?
The balloon waits for the right letter. Wrong keys lower your accuracy but never pop the wrong balloon.
Is there sound?
Yes, but it starts switched off. Press the speaker button in the game to turn it on.
